MSR - November 2022

PROMOTIONS: None this period.

ACTIVITIES : Gaming, STARFLEET support, Discord Chats, Online Gatherings, event planning, holiday events, and Chapter elections.

COMMENTS : Greetings from all aboard the Curie! This month we continued our usual activities on the Chapter’s Discord server, where members from Earth and to as far as Qo'noS are able to interact. Starting off, we have begun our Annual Secret Santa gift exchange. I’m excited to see what everyone gets! We participated in a fundraiser on November 5th to support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and it was a great success! We joined thousands of gamers around the world and streamed various games to raise money and awareness for Extra Life. (Extra Life is a fundraising program of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals®. The Extra Life community fundraises year-round to Change Kids’ Health to Change the Future. Donations go to member children’s hospitals to fund critical life-saving treatments and healthcare services, along with innovative research, vital pediatric medical equipment, and child life services.) By the end of the event, we raised roughly $237 to our $400 goal. Congratulations are an order for all who participated.

In addition, members of our crew spent time working on Corps of Engineering Auxiliary projects this month. I was informed that these hours should be captured on our MSR. Those hours are as follows:
